Tuesday 10/11

Today during ACT prep, we went over using coordinates and slope of a figure to find the missing vertex. We also reviewed how to divide odd shapes into ones that we recognize in order to find the area of the whole shape. For example, to find the area of an arrow, we divided it into a rectangle and a triangle. We found the area of both shapes individually then added the areas together to find the total area.
